Last night Rebecca Juro interviewed Mara Keisling. While I agreed with some of what she had to say, she totally pulled a Kerry. How much did she flip-flop? About this much….
One of the more troubling things she said was that she couldn’t comment on an email written by NCTE Board Chair Meredith Bacon. She claimed not to have read it. For someone that is purported to constantly be checking her Blackberry, I find it hard that she hadn’t read an email sent from Vanessa Edwards Foster concerning Meredith’s email.
Haven’t read it? I know I would have read an email from a former Board Chair of NTAC… but that’s just me.

Nice selection of flip flops, Marti, You should toss in a few dance lessons and perhaps some speech therapy for that terrible stuttering problem she seems to have.

I agree with Susan Stanton’s comments. “I am not like those people!”
I am not like Joe “Sturmabteilung” Solmonese. I am not like Congressman Barney “Fart” Frank, and I am not like Susan “Self Absorbed” Stanton.
I feel sorry for her, in that she probably has more mouth than discretion, and that she is missing out on support and a time to learn how fragile others may be. I cannot blame her for what she may have been in her life as Steve. An asshole as many have elaborated on I am sure. I know I was! It is a common cover to hide how shallow and hurting one is inside.
I can only hope she turns to others and learns what all of us who have hit bottom know. I hope she does this before she also loses everything.
