not for me, but the hubby. he went shopping for work shoes yesterday and brought home these beauties. gotta love the brand.
and speaking of work, i went out to my car this morning to go to work, and the battery was dead. i had noticed that the engine was starting to turn over rather slowly the past day or two. batteries don’t last very long when exposed to 110+ degree heat. note to self – when the engine starts turning over slowly during starting, get thee to the autozone and replace the battery. fortunately, there’s an autozone about a block away. with a little luck, they’ll have a battery in stock. they open in about an hour. i’ll be a little late to work today…

I honestly don’t know how you all deal with 110 degree heat. Better you than me. Also, love the boots.

i’ll say that 110 degree heat is pretty darn uncomfortable. but i console myself by remembering the sub-zero temps i used to have to deal with back east. for me, i’m much better with extreme heat than extreme cold. i guess to each their own. regarding the boots, i may stop by and see if they have a pair in my size

I’d rather deal with below zero than 110 but what I really like is about 70 degrees with no humidity.

i’ll go for 80 degrees with no humidity – 70 is a bit to cool for my blood
