work shoes

not for me, but the hubby. he went shopping for work shoes yesterday and brought home these beauties. gotta love the brand.

and speaking of work, i went out to my car this morning to go to work, and the battery was dead. i had noticed that the engine was starting to turn over rather slowly the past day or two. batteries don’t last very long when exposed to 110+ degree heat. note to self – when the engine starts turning over slowly during starting, get thee to the autozone and replace the battery. fortunately, there’s an autozone about a block away. with a little luck, they’ll have a battery in stock. they open in about an hour. i’ll be a little late to work today…

  1. I honestly don’t know how you all deal with 110 degree heat. Better you than me. Also, love the boots.

  2. i’ll say that 110 degree heat is pretty darn uncomfortable. but i console myself by remembering the sub-zero temps i used to have to deal with back east. for me, i’m much better with extreme heat than extreme cold. i guess to each their own. regarding the boots, i may stop by and see if they have a pair in my size :)

  3. I’d rather deal with below zero than 110 but what I really like is about 70 degrees with no humidity.

  4. i’ll go for 80 degrees with no humidity – 70 is a bit to cool for my blood :)
