looking forward to the end of summer…

 

 

we just came back from seeing 9. very cool. i can’t wait until the dvd comes out. i absolutely love the character and set design; so unique and steampunk. the hubby and i want to go out on halloween as 2 of them.

 

 

i just installed the latest version of the mac os x operating system. as usual, it went smoothly. as usual, i don’t like some of the changes. it appears the automator is removed from the right-click menu. i learned this when i tried to resize the above graphic as i usually did by simply right-clicking on the item, and selecting the automator, in which i had programmed a resize graphic command. perhaps they put it in a more convenient location?

other than that, things seem pretty much the same. i’ll update additional complaints as they become known

 

 

imogen heap recently released a new cd ellipse which has reached #5 on billboard’s top 200 albums chart. i just picked up a copy. love it.

 

 

my mueller apv scope arrived yesterday, and i mounted it onto my one piece game reaper scope mount. a little photoshop magic placed the picture against a ruger desktop image. looks almost religious. anyway, i hope to stop by the range today to sight it in.

update: back from the range. after sighting it in, i managed to get a few pretty good groups at 25 yards, the two below well within 3/4″.

 

 

 

 

 

 

we went to the arizona mining and mineral museum today and saw quite a few interesting items, including the above big shovel, and the below big tire.

 

 

we also saw a few dinner items made entirely of rocks.
