the bad news; my throat has been sore for the past couple of days, so badly that i’m having trouble talking. so we went to the doctor this morning.
the good news; i’m apparently somewhat infectious so i’ll be taking tomorrow off from work as a sick day. and the doctor prescribed medicine with codeine in it. i feel like i’m floating…
as a side note, i’m always torn when the nurse fills out the medical history thing. i chose not to say anything about previous surgeries i’ve had, and when asked when my last period was, i responded by saying “umm, that’s a tough one…”. i went to the local urgent care as opposed to my primary doctor who of course knows my medical history.
I know where you’re coming from on this one. I handle things the same way.

thanks jon. i take my next dose in about a half hour. after the first dose, i slept for a few hours. i just love a nap.
