  2. not yet – we found a copy on the internet but it wasn’t streaming very well. perhaps today, if we can get ourselves some motivation to get out of the house.

  3. just came back from seeing district 9. it was certainly entertaining, and had some great effects and messages, but there were a lot of holes in the plot. overall, i liked it.

  4. i couldn’t stop crying through the damn thing, for personal reasons.

    Having advanced weapons lying around in the ghetto like that for 20 years seemed pretty wuh? to me.

  5. there were just too many plot holes for me to get too far into it. granted, i was at the edge of my seat for most of the movie, so it was certainly engaging, but i had too many questions about what was going on – like why did they stop at earth – repairs? food? health? and why didn’t they leave earlier since they obviously could, and why didn’t they just kick ass and take names once they got to earth instead of allowing themselves to get walked all over, and why did the main character get infected from getting splattered with rocket fuel?

    other than that, i liked it :P
