my mueller apv scope arrived yesterday, and i mounted it onto my one piece game reaper scope mount. a little photoshop magic placed the picture against a ruger desktop image. looks almost religious. anyway, i hope to stop by the range today to sight it in.
update: back from the range. after sighting it in, i managed to get a few pretty good groups at 25 yards, the two below well within 3/4″.
Very nice patterns and outstanding grouping.

thanks! i’m real happy with the new scope. i did some research on line, mostly on the rimfire central forums. great group of people who know their stuff, especially when it comes to the ruger 10/22. i seem to have made a good choice with the stock, which fits me like a glove. i got the barrel more so because i found it used (though never mounted) and at a great price, as opposed to just getting the best barrel, but based on the above groups, i’m pretty happy with the accuracy. i should be able to tighten those groups up even more once i get a bench rest.
