picked up some ammo at cabalas on saturday. they actually had .22 ammo in stock, and a few different varieties to boot. unfortunately, the minimag ammo they had was the round nose type, which doesn’t feed as well in my 22 pistols, so i opted for the more reliable yet slightly more expensive winchester super x. 500 rounds ought to hold me for a little while.
i also got some 00 buckshot on sale. $32 for 50 rounds is a pretty good price for buckshot, and i’ve used this ammo with good results in the past.
i also made it to the range for the first time in over a month. not bad for being a little rusty, but i definitely need to continue working on that pulling to the left issue. the .22
and the 9mm
My boyfriend and i thought ammo might be cheaper at Cabelas than the usual places.
Not so much. i think our discount stores have some unusually low prices, though.

i seem to get the best deals at walmart, though cabelas has a much better selection.
