so i finally got around to installing a magazine extension to my remington 870 shotgun. it was a pretty easy install. just unscrew the existing magazine cap, pry out the magazine spring retainer, slide out the old magazine spring, slide in the new spring, screw on the extension, and then the magazine brace. took all of five minutes. and i’ve increased capacity by 2 shells.
