and speaking of guns, i got this lovely pin from the pink pistols for getting my ccw permit. i also picked up some new ammo for my smith and wesson 637 revolver.

interestingly enough, finding jacketed hollowpoints for a .38 is harder than it may seem. and they are a bit expensive, at $13.99 for a box of 25. i’ll have to do some searching on the net for better pricing.
Have you ever considered loading your own? I’ve done that for years.. It guarantees you get the loads you want.. I loaded all my .38’s at +P with jacketed hollow points back in the day… I think I still have a couple hundred rounds in the safe.

i don’t know that i shoot enough to make it cost effective to reload. i’ll have to keep an eye on that over the next year or so to see if it makes financial sense. i do most of my shooting with my .22’s, and i don’t think one can reload rimfire cartridges. i keep both the .38 and my 9mm mostly for self defense, and only shoot them enough to stay accurate.
