bully

apparently, deacon keith a fournier thinks me and my ilk are bullies simply for the want of moving through the world without harassment. i suppose he’d rather retain the right to shoot us on sight. perhaps that’s his idea of god’s plan.

  1. Just check out the thing at notmyshower.net where they say that basically anyone who ‘thinks’ he’s a woman can go in locker rooms or showers, or that its a ’special right’.

Such as it is, they want they clearly want people to imagine the ‘average straight guy’ taking advantage of this, entering a woman’s intimate facility and declaring he’s a woman. They’re clearly not thinking of transsexuals more or less passable, presenting as women (not just ’saying’ it). And they want ‘the right’ not to hire a trans person. Trans person’s right to work is completely overlooked though.

  2. It’s been quite bracing reading all the right-wing coverage stemming from Seton Medical Center’s refusal to perform breast implant surgery on a trans woman. It’s a sobering reminder of what you always say - to a certain segment of the population God made us what we are and we should all shut up and accept it.

What I think is missing from the deacon’s editorial is exactly why he think we NEED to specify the gender of the individual on an ID card. Why is it relevant to the modern world to have “proof” of gender? If he answered that question, it would probably speak volumes about his true agenda.

  3. personally, i think it’s all about fear, and for the want of power over others.

  4. I’d like to know why he thinks we need ID at all? Honestly, I’d rather live in a world where the government doesn’t care who you are and never interferes in your life.

  5. i suppose one could make the argument about terrorism, blah, blah, blah and the need for i.d., but really i don’t see the need for gender markers. if men and women are so different, as “they” claim we are, then it should be pretty obvious. a gender marker seems pretty redundant.
