		<description>thanks for your thoughts, oweena.  although i disagree with your assertion that trans people are a form of intersex condition, i do believe we each have to come to terms with our status in a way that works for us as individuals.</description>

		<description>Some people are born different from others.  I am one of those people.  From my lifetime search for my idenity, I have discovered to my satifaction that there are several posibilities for the difference.  Most of it is in the gender of a person at birth.  Some women are born in the body of a man and vise-versa.  GID or Gender Identity Disorder is quite common.  As laws become more user friendly to the Trangendered it is becoming known that there are many more of us than previously thought.  It is a form of  a hermaphrodite  rather than a body sporting both sexes, it is a brain sporting both male and female gender.

I am 75 years old and have been fighting society all my adult life for the right to be the woman I was ment to be.  I can tell you horror storys of thing I have seen happen to cross gendered people who grew up in my day.  Some of these thing also happened to me and believe me it wasn't nice.</description>
