I REALLY understand that this isn’t a viable or proper solution to probably even most of the trans population, but for me, I present myself the way I feel like at the time, and I can only say one thing to anybody that would think to be provoked to violence, and that’s “Bring it!”

I’m 25 days post-op (mtf) and am glad that there are people like you around to answer these posters because, right now, I just cannot be bothered with them. They seem interested only in commenting on something they clearly know nothing about. It’s the blind hatred that bothers me. Do they *seriously* think “people-like-me” would voluntarily “choose” to suffer this condition?

So, SRS is the admission fee for membership of the lesbian club?- is that really what they’re saying? *shakes head in amazement*

“Surgically mutilated”? Ha! Hahahaha! And undoubtedly they’re perfect physical specimens of manhood and virility… Makes me wonder why, then, they seem to feel so threatened.

I’m reading Julia’s book as well after you recommended it. It’s very compelling stuff, and has given me a lot to think about, especially concerning feminists (I’m only about a third through it so far).

i haven’t seen the julia serano piece. perhaps i missed it, is it on her site? by the way, i got her book a month or so ago - great read! i’ve been meaning to give it a second read as there’s so much to absorb.
