it would seem that there’s yet another post bashing trans people, and accusing them of perpetuating gender stereotypes. as if it’s a gender stereotype that people assigned as male at birth, get a “sex change” operation and live as women. what universe are these people living in? to wit:

“If culture is constructed, and gender is constructed, then WHY DO THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR GENITALIA???”

i was going to write a post on my unexpected troubles in finding some lube for dilating, since the many cases of surgilube i bought soon after my surgery 5 years ago finally ran out, and the fact that it costs more for 3 tubes of the ky at the drug store than a case of 12 surgilubes at amazon, but i realized that my privilege was showing. so i stopped myself and had a gin and tonic instead.
