Story and photo: Intersexed, Seven-legged Lamb
—————
One of my first posts in this blog was about the intersexed, seven-legged deer.
Next came the four-legged duck.
Now comes a whole barnyard of animal oddities from Metro.co.uk:
Top (L-to-R): Six-legged piglet; two-faced piglet; five-legged cow
Middle (L-to-R): Six-legged cow; six-legged frog; another two-faced piglet
Bottom (L-to-R): Two-faced cow; four-legged duck; four-legged duck as a duckling
The four-legged duck is from the same story I posted earlier; the duckling has grown up healthy.
So, for some reason the science and genetics behind these animal stories just facinates me. Pardon my indulgences here in covering these stories. ![]()
