About Autumn: Autumn Sandeen is a transgender activist, who lives in the Normal Heights community of San Diego [The “(Ab)Normal Heights” part of “The View From (Ab)Normal Heights”]. She’s on the steering committee of the Transgender Advocacy And Services Center (TASC) of San Diego, is a member of the Transgender Equality Alliance (TEA) of California, is a news achivist/moderator for transgendernews YahooGroup, and has been a contributing author for the Ex-Gay Watch. (She’s speaking as a private individual in her blog, but for disclosure purposes Autumn wants her affiliations known.)
